NAME
    gcloud alpha container images untag - remove existing image tags

SYNOPSIS
    gcloud alpha container images untag IMAGE_NAME [IMAGE_NAME ...]
        [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]

DESCRIPTION
    (ALPHA) The container images untag command removes the specified tag from
    the image.

EXAMPLES
    Removes the tag from the input IMAGE_NAME:

        $ gcloud alpha container images untag <IMAGE_NAME>

POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
     IMAGE_NAME [IMAGE_NAME ...]
        The fully qualified name(s) of image(s) to untag. The name(s) should be
        formatted as *.gcr.io/PROJECT_ID/IMAGE_PATH:TAG.

GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
    These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account,
    --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format,
    --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet,
    --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

NOTES
    This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this
    command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct
    project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early
    access allowlist. These variants are also available:

        $ gcloud container images untag

        $ gcloud beta container images untag
