NAME
    gcloud alpha bigtable clusters update - update a Bigtable cluster's number
        of nodes

SYNOPSIS
    gcloud alpha bigtable clusters update (CLUSTER : --instance=INSTANCE)
        (--autoscaling-cpu-target=AUTOSCALING_CPU_TARGET
          --autoscaling-max-nodes=AUTOSCALING_MAX_NODES
          --autoscaling-min-nodes=AUTOSCALING_MIN_NODES
          | [--num-nodes=NUM_NODES : --disable-autoscaling]) [--async]
        [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]

DESCRIPTION
    (ALPHA) Update a Bigtable cluster's number of nodes.

EXAMPLES
    To update a cluster to 10 nodes, run:

        $ gcloud alpha bigtable clusters update my-cluster-id \
            --instance=my-instance-id --num-nodes=10

POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
     Cluster resource - The cluster to update. The arguments in this group can
     be used to specify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some attributes
     are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways. To set
     the project attribute:
      ◆ provide the argument cluster on the command line with a fully
        specified name;
      ◆ provide the argument --project on the command line;
      ◆ set the property core/project.

     This must be specified.

       CLUSTER
          ID of the cluster or fully qualified identifier for the cluster. To
          set the cluster attribute:
          ▸ provide the argument cluster on the command line.

          This positional must be specified if any of the other arguments in
          this group are specified.

       --instance=INSTANCE
          Cloud Bigtable instance for the cluster. To set the instance
          attribute:
          ▸ provide the argument cluster on the command line with a fully
            specified name;
          ▸ provide the argument --instance on the command line.

REQUIRED FLAGS
     Exactly one of these must be specified:

       Autoscaling

         --autoscaling-cpu-target=AUTOSCALING_CPU_TARGET
            The target CPU utilization percent for autoscaling. Accepted values
            are from 10 to 80.

         --autoscaling-max-nodes=AUTOSCALING_MAX_NODES
            The maximum number of nodes for autoscaling.

         --autoscaling-min-nodes=AUTOSCALING_MIN_NODES
            The minimum number of nodes for autoscaling.

       Manual Scaling

         --num-nodes=NUM_NODES
            Number of nodes to serve.

            This flag must be specified if any of the other arguments in this
            group are specified.

         --disable-autoscaling
            Set this flag and --num-nodes to disable autoscaling. If
            autoscaling is currently not enabled, setting this flag does
            nothing.

OPTIONAL FLAGS
     --async
        Return immediately, without waiting for the operation in progress to
        complete.

GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
    These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account,
    --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format,
    --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet,
    --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

    Run $ gcloud help for details.

NOTES
    This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this
    command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct
    project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early
    access allowlist. These variants are also available:

        $ gcloud bigtable clusters update

        $ gcloud beta bigtable clusters update
