NAME
gcloud alpha bigtable clusters update - update a Bigtable cluster's number
of nodes
SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha bigtable clusters update (CLUSTER : --instance=INSTANCE)
(--autoscaling-cpu-target=AUTOSCALING_CPU_TARGET
--autoscaling-max-nodes=AUTOSCALING_MAX_NODES
--autoscaling-min-nodes=AUTOSCALING_MIN_NODES

DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Update a Bigtable cluster's number of nodes.
EXAMPLES
To update a cluster to 10 nodes, run:
$ gcloud alpha bigtable clusters update my-cluster-id \
--instance=my-instance-id --num-nodes=10
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Cluster resource - The cluster to update. The arguments in this group can
be used to specify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some attributes
are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways. To set
the project attribute:
◆ provide the argument cluster on the command line with a fully
specified name;
◆ provide the argument --project on the command line;
◆ set the property core/project.
This must be specified.
CLUSTER
ID of the cluster or fully qualified identifier for the cluster. To
set the cluster attribute:
▸ provide the argument cluster on the command line.
This positional must be specified if any of the other arguments in
this group are specified.
--instance=INSTANCE
Cloud Bigtable instance for the cluster. To set the instance
attribute:
▸ provide the argument cluster on the command line with a fully
specified name;
▸ provide the argument --instance on the command line.
REQUIRED FLAGS
Exactly one of these must be specified:
Autoscaling
--autoscaling-cpu-target=AUTOSCALING_CPU_TARGET
The target CPU utilization percent for autoscaling. Accepted values
are from 10 to 80.
--autoscaling-max-nodes=AUTOSCALING_MAX_NODES
The maximum number of nodes for autoscaling.
--autoscaling-min-nodes=AUTOSCALING_MIN_NODES
The minimum number of nodes for autoscaling.
Manual Scaling
--num-nodes=NUM_NODES
Number of nodes to serve.
This flag must be specified if any of the other arguments in this
group are specified.
--disable-autoscaling
Set this flag and --num-nodes to disable autoscaling. If
autoscaling is currently not enabled, setting this flag does
nothing.
OPTIONAL FLAGS
--async
Return immediately, without waiting for the operation in progress to
complete.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account,
--billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format,
--help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet,
--trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

NOTES
This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this
command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct
project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early
access allowlist. These variants are also available:
$ gcloud bigtable clusters update
$ gcloud beta bigtable clusters update
